Our Social and Corporate Responsibility
At West Coast Estates we care about our social and environmental impact; we do everything we can to ensure our influence is nothing but positive. We are environmentally conscious in the way that we run our business and we proactively donate to several local charities, notably EMAT.
Helping the environment with energy solutions
We strive to introduce lower or alternative energy products and energy-saving devices where possible in all our properties. As well as being responsible, commercially viable energies make good business sense: running costs are reduced for customers and partners.
Sustainable environmental and social benefits
Environmental care and community involvement are integral to our business practice: our business model encourages people to shop within working distance of their homes, avoiding unnecessary travel and saving energy. We also do all that we can to promote good community relations and help local businesses thrive.
Supporting EMAT
We donate time and funds to the charity EMAT, to enable the organisation to run at no cost. This means that 100% of public donations help people in need. Working in the Liaquat Pur area of Pakistan, the charity transforms people’s lives with the gift of restored sight. They operate highly effective free eye clinics and are currently building a permanent hospital.
